About the SteveO's Techno Pad Kit
SteveO picked the Pulex TechnoPad as his scrubber of choice. This handy scrubber latches onto your 4" x 9" pads thanks to the small teeth in the base. The long handle has a comfortable grip in addition to a swiveling motion making it easy to reach corners.
Each kit comes with one handle and three pads. Choose either a green, red, or blue handle and the pads that you want.
Use the White Scrub Padsfor applying stain removal products. Works excellently with a paste or power. And the best part is it doesn't scratch glass surfaces.
Or grab the Walnut Scrub Padsthat contain crushed walnut shells allowing it to be safe for surfaces where there is a concern for scratching. Offers an aggressive scrubbing power.
*Note that these pads are actually 6" x 9" instead of 4" x 9" and require trimming for a perfect fit on the pad holder.
And when those pads are worn out and gone, you can simply buy replacements to keep on cleaning or the different kinds to swap out! The white scrub pads and walnut pads are a slightly larger size than the handle, but you can cut them down or just let them hang off the edge.
*The TechnoPad has a good, secure fit on all major cones and tips but, will not fit on the Ettore Pole tip, Unger Snap-In Pole Tip, or Unger Wooden Cone.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Are these compatible with the Ettore poles?
Unfortunately that is not a compatible option. The TechnoPad has a good, secure fit on most major cones and tips but, will not fit on the Ettore Pole tip, Unger Wooden Cone, or Unger Snap-In Pole Tip
-
So, with the walnut scrub pad, is that a safe & comparable alternative to steel wool? & will it scratch glass?
The XERO Walnut Scrub Pad is safe to use on the glass that steel wool would be safe on. Steel wool is more for polishing, where the walnut pad is a great gentle abrasive for glass with some extra grime on them.
-
do you carry the bronze wool pad 4"x9" that fits the IPC Techno pad?
Hi Jeffrey, unfortunately bronze wool is no longer manufactured. We would suggest working with 0000 grade steel wool, a walnut, or white polyester scrub pad as an alternative.

Will this fit on my unger pole

How do I adapt my Ettore poles for this?
Although the Ettore tip won't lock into the Techno Pad, it will hold by pressure. -
