Hi there, this will not fit on the Sörbo California Dream pole.

I own an older Unger pole which has just a screw on at the end, and the new Unger attachments don’t fit it. Doez this adapter screw onto the older Unger pole and allow use of newer Unger attachments? Thanks

It depends on what pole you are using and what tools you are attaching to the adapter.
