Window cleaners needed a way to connect, share knowledge, and overcome common challenges together. To meet that need, WCR was created in 2007, not as a supply company, but as an online community. It was a place where window cleaners from all over could ask questions, share experiences, and help one another grow. As the community expanded, another major issue became clear: easy access to reliable, high-quality tools was needed. Once again, WCR stepped in.
In 2008, WCR began selling only products they trusted and used themselves. But they understood that simply offering products wasn’t enough. Window cleaners want to know how tools actually perform before investing their hard-earned money. To remove that uncertainty, WCR started producing straightforward YouTube videos demonstrating how each product worked, no hype, no gimmicks, just honest demonstrations.
The response was overwhelming. By 2010, WCR experienced rapid growth. With growth came an important question: how could the company scale without losing touch with the real needs of window cleaners? The answer was simple: hire window cleaners. No one understands the tools, the work, or the daily challenges better than those who do the job themselves. By building a team made up of experienced professionals and those who respected window cleaners, WCR stayed grounded in the realities of the trade.
