About the XERO Carbon Fiber Trad Pole 2.0
The original XERO Trad Pole debuted with so much demand that the Trad Pole 2.0 was created! Upgrade from your standard extension pole today and add this beauty to your arsenal! Choose between XERO, Ettore, Unger, or Dr. Angle pole tips to best match the tools you use daily. Our colored poles only come in 12 foot, so if you need something longer or shorter, the standard black is the way to go.
XERO Trad Pole
XERO’s traditional extension pole is made from 100% Carbon Fiber making it a lightweight and durable option for easy extension work on storefronts and route jobs. It's designed to be rigid with no flex for super-accurate cleaning and the compact design makes transportation a breeze. The smaller poles nest into the full 20-foot version so you can drop sections on the go and work with a smaller pole that day.
You will feel the difference between the lightweight carbon fiber versus standard aluminum extension poles. The carbon fiber massively cuts down on fatigue and shoulder pain. Each section features a built-in end defender to keep your pole from getting damaged by concrete when you lay it down. XERO Trad Poles allow you to pick your length as well as your pole tip.
The colored trad poles are not intended to be used with harsh chemicals as the colors will fade.

Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
What tip do I need on a Xero trad pole to fit the Moerman excelerator 3.0
Great question! The Moerman Excelerator will work on every pole tip offered via pressure fit.
-
Can the 20' pole be extended to 24'?
We do not recommend using this pole beyond 20'. Based on its design and function, it would be unsafe to do so.
-
I’m interested in buying a xero trad extension pole. I have sorbo squeegees and T-bars so I’m just trying to figure out which attachment will allow me to use them both together.
Hi! This is a great extension pole to work with! Working with Sörbo, you can choose the XERO, Moerman, or Unger tip is a safe choice for your tools and will fit via pressure fit.
-
Is there an end cap available? I've had the 12ft trad pole foe maybe 3 years and today the end began splitting and I cut my hand.
There sure is! The #3 option HERE is best suited for your XERO Trad Pole.
-
Hi can the tips be changed daily from Unger to Moerman.
Yes! The pole tip of the XERO Carbon Fiber Trad Pole is very easily swapped. Depending on which tools you utilize, all Unger Tools are compatible with Moerman Pole tips via pressure fit, and most Moerman tools are compatible with an Unger Pole Tip (the only exception is the Moerman Ergonomic with the Unger Snap In Pole Tip, they DO NOT work together).
-
What is the difference between the 20 foot trad pole and the 21 foot M9 pole? Aside from the obvious 1 foot difference. . . Why make a pole with more sections to only reach 1 foot higher?
The XERO Trad Pole is 100% carbon fiber, where the XERO M9 is a hybrid carbon fiber material, therefore the design is different. The M9 is more commonly chosen as an entry level waterfed pole. You can learn more HERE.
-
My Unger Optiloc pole tends to slide in the winter when slush gets into the locking mechanism. How well does the Xero Trad pole maintain its extended length in icy conditions?
The XERO Trad performs well and maintains its lenght and stiffness well in all weather.
-

Not all. However all Moerman handles we offer will fit the wooden cone adapter with a pressure fit.
-

-
Sorry, also another question...one of the reasons I'd lime this trad pole is to eventually switch over to wfp, which I know this can do. When I eventually switched over to wfp, will this pole work fine with other wfp systems in case I opt NOT to go with this xero trad (although through my research I still regard them as best). Thank you!!
Yes, it will work with other wfp systems.
-
I'm planning on using a few different tools on this (excelerator 2.0, the handy sleeve, etc.). I'm wondering what my best option is for a tip.
The very best for Moerman tools is the Ettore tip. The pin will click perfectly into the Moerman handles. I'm speaking form many hours using the two together.

Can you add height, or another extension to the 20ft pole? Ive been cleaning windows for 28 years. 26 to 28 ft seems to be the maximum height for all traditional window cleaning. If you hit that mark, this pole line up you have would be perfect! Thanks Kyle.
Yes, Kyle, you can add length. If you have a 20' Xero Trad, start with section #6. Each section adds about 4'. Search 'micro replacement"
-
If someone had previously purchased a trad 12, could they buy the 2 addition sections separately?
You would have to purchase the Micro sections #'s 4 and 5.
