will this work on fabric awnings
That depends on what kind of fabric it is. Most awnings fabric awnings are nylon, which this would be safe for. Another option would be EBC Degreaser and Multipurpose Cleaner, or even Winsol Awning Fabric Spot Remover. Always test a small area before trying any cleaning chemical you are unfamiliar with.

When hand cleaning with Winsol Awning Cleaner and Protectant, mix 8 ounces of Winsol Awning Cleaner and Protectant into 1 gallon of water. Using a brush of medium stiffness or an awning sponge, gently but firmly scrub the awning from bottom to top. Rinse immediately with clear water. Cleaning coverage is about 5,000 to 7,000 square feet per gallon. Thank you for your feedback and we are working on getting more pictures up.
