About the Pure Water Power Solar Beast RO/DI - 115V

Its robust yet compact design allows you to use it upright or on its side, mounted or on its wheels.

Construction

The engineers at Pure Water Power always consider the most important aspects when curating their water purification systems.

The Solar Beast is constructed with ultra-durable plastic housings that hold 10-inch sediment and carbon filters and one 20-inch DI filter. It also utilizes durable stainless steel housings that protect the two 40-inch RO membranes. These housings ensure your filters are kept safe and secure on the job. It's also got a dual inline TDS meter so you can monitor the input and output readings.

Versatility is what makes this system unique, as you can either use it with tap pressure alone or with the included 115V booster pump.

To use this with tap pressure alone, attach a garden hose to the water supply directly at the job site. Efficient tap water pressure can provide an output of about 1 GPM at 50 PSI.

If you're using more than one pole or working over 50 feet, utilizing this system with the 115V booster pump will let you clean efficiently with up to three water-fed poles and will produce 2.5 GPM.

With the adjustable flow control box, you can operate the Solar Beast at distances up to 500 feet with the included remote control. This lets you manage your water flow from the pole at all times. If you plan on running more than one water-fed pole, you can add another hose to your setup.

Like a beast in a cage, the Solar Beast systems come as a skid mount with everything mounted on its steel bars, including its wheels. You can add up to two outgoing reels and one incoming reel. It's easy to hook them up directly to the plumbing of the system, too.

The Solar Beast also has a small footprint. It is 57 inches tall and 15.75" x 17" on the ground. Not only is this compact enough to fit onto a flatbed, but it can also be mounted in your truck, van, or trailer either vertically or horizontally.

Stages of Filtration

The Pure Water Power Solar Beast RO/DI - 115V allows for spot-free rinsing. It is constructed for ideal pure water cleaning and uses four types of filtration for the best and most economical total filtration possible.

The four stages of filtration are as follows:

Stage 1: From the incoming water supply, the sediment filter removes rust and large solids.

Stage 2: The carbon filter eliminates the chlorine from the water.

Stage 3: The chlorine-free water filters through the two RO membranes. This process, called Reverse Osmosis, removes 98% of the total dissolved solids, also known as TDS, before passing through the final stage.

Stage 4: The deionization stage, known as DI, filters the water one final time to bring the TDS level down to 0.

Then, you have pure water to make the solar panels spotless and allow them to absorb optimal amounts of energy from the sun.

Output Levels

When using tap water pressure, the Solar Beast's powerful double RO pure water system can make 1 GPM.

When using the booster pump, this system produces 2.5 GPM and can run three water-fed poles.

Pure Water Power suggests using a 5/16-inch water fed hose to allow free-flowing water throughout the day without any hiccups. Hooking it up is easy. Just thread the hose through your favorite water fed pole and get down to business.
