About the X-Jet M5 Injection Nozzle
The X-Jet M5 or M-Jet Spray Nozzle works just like the original, but the close range nozzle is replaced with a built-in adjustable nozzle. Use this to remove mold, dirt, and mildew from buildings without needing a ladder or scaffolding. Project chemicals and liquids to vertical heights of 40 feet at 0° with a simple twist. Use this on jobs when you don't need the impact of the original X-Jet. This nozzle will inject and proportion soaps, chemicals, or other liquids at high pressure. You don't even have to run them through your hose, pump, lance, etc causing damage with caustic chemicals. This is compatible with most pressure washers, hot or cold, from 1000 PSI to 6000 PSI, and with a Max Temperature of 190° F. The vertical height is determined by the power of your pressure washer.

- Hose Barb for Chemical Injection

How can you tell which nozzle you received? Received the xjet as a gift. I have a 2.5 gpm so I guess that would fall under nozzle #7? There's no information listed regarding Nozzle #7.
Correct, if your GPM is 2.5, #7 would work best.
-
I have a mega shot 3200 psi 2.5 gpm with a Honda engine would I be able to use the x jet?
Hi there, the issue may exist with your PSI. It might be too strong. If you view the chart on the product page, it tells you which nozzle is compatible with which GPM and PSI.
The closest you could get would be with the X-Jet M5 Injection Nozzle #9.
The GPM for that is 3-3.5, PSI 2000-3000.
Everything else requires a higher GPM. I would not recommend this product for your current equipment. -
For a 2.8, 3200 psi pressure washer, would I want the #7 or the #9?
Hi there, we would recommend #9.

It seems this is a siphon set up for chemicals? I remember one version that comes with your pressure washer when I used to buy smaller 4 gpm 4000 psi machines but the mix rate was like 20 :1.or greater. Not quite the strength needed for effective soft washing on really soiled surfaces. . Can this replace soft washing pump machines ? What might the mix rate be? Thanks so much for your time. Always wanting to learn.....
The XJet is set up for chemical application. By drawing straight 12.5% sh from the bucket, you will be hitting the surface with about 3.5% sh. This is good for decks, fences, brick, stucco - where a higher concentration is often needed. The one application it is not ideal for is roof cleaning, which usually requires 4-6% mix. Therefore, a 12v pump is the next step up to get the higher concentration. Most vinyl, wood, and aluminum siding can be down-streamed effectively.
