About the New England Rope KM III
The KM III Static Kermantle Rope has a continuous filament polyester cover braided over a unidirectional nylon core. This flexible yet strong rope can be used with descenders and rope grabs. It has excellent abrasion, chemical, and UV resistance. This line has low stretch and is non-rotating, so it is easy to knot with low moisture absorption. The tensile strength for 7/16" is 8,000 lbs. and the 1/2" is 10,000 lbs.
