X-Tenda legs rusting

I’ve used these for years, just tired of the legs rusting. Every couple weeks I have to wipe them down with WD-40 to keep them from making that horrible screeching sound in someone’s nice house.

What have you all found works to remove rust and protect the legs?

We have ladders dedicated for indoors only. These are stack ladders so never see the elements to get dirty or wet.

Other than that we dont do anything
