Would I have to have a waterfed pole for these top windows or would a regular pole work?

Not a double hung it’s a fake, historical looking building with Windows designed to look like the original double hungd

I’d just pole it. Stand a little further back to get past the awning. If you don’t have any practice poling. That would be the perfect place to get some practice in. Your first time would probably take you a while. But every time after that you will get faster. And will have the practice for future sites. Keep it up buddy. You got this!

How would you put a ladder up against those top windows? Are you talking about from the sidewalk up or the parking spots up front? Those awnings look like they stick out aways from the building and don’t see how you can angle over them?
Or does your standoff give you enough of a angle once over those and up against the building

I was just going to make my ladder an A shape so I can get closer but still have to use a pole. It doesn’t matter now anyways because I went there and gave them a price this morning and its only one story.

Poling from the top of a ladder sounds almost as safe as standing on the ground. :open_mouth::joy::rofl::laughing:

PS
I get dizzy just thinking about it.

These look like windows that could be completely covered in sun baked on brick sealer. BEWARE!

I’ve done brick sealer removal in the past, won’t do it now.

lol

I pole from a ladder all the time. I love it.

I use to pole sky lights from a ladder when the roofs were to steep to walk but I wasn’t standing at the top of the ladder.

I think he could clear those awnings with a ladder. Your base would be off the sidewalk in the street , but it’s doable. I could be wrong , but I don’t think so.
