What would you do?

So I talked to the GC this morning. I told him I’d get the bill sent to his office asap and as soon as I get paid I’ll go ahead with this job.

He told me don’t worry about it just get the bill in the mail and he thanked me for what I did last month. He said he’d be in touch of they ever do another job in this area again.

All and all it was good on both ends. I thought he’d be pissed that I refused to do the work without payment. So I’m glad it ended well.

Looked at it this morning and it’s not even real dirty anyway.

Emailing a quote this evening for bi annual cleaning to the facilities manager and I think it’s a good chance I may and up with this job anyway.

Cheers guys! Thanks for the quick fast advise.

this is the sort of situation that 9 times out of ten youll get paid, even if its 30 or even 60 days late if that how their office works

its also something iv done and never got paid ! because someone in the org knows the little guy will take the hit and THEY can keep the money for themselves . This asshole will have done it many times too as the opportunity arises ,probably pays for the annual holiday?

if i get an uneasy feeling i now always want cash up front and no checks. this usually alerts the asshole immediately and i never get the job

We’ll see. The jury is still out whether I actually get paid.
