Anybody ever have glass that makes the sleeve and squeegee drag?
One year old windows, first time clean since CCU clean, They looked fine after cleaning and I could not see or feel anything on the glass that might cause drag but it was still there. A couple of light passes with wet bronze wool took all the drag away. Almost every pane had this on the outside.
I have, not on Windows that new. Steel wool takes it off. In Arizona it’s typically heavy dust or paint over spray. It’s especially heavy behind solar screens.
Usually when I feel that it means the coating is in the outside.
I just had one last week. Brand new bay windows. Only dragged on the outside. First thing I thought of was some type of coating so I was afraid to put any wool or anything on it. It cleaned up nicely but had that awful drag. I just left it be.
