WFP basic upgrades

I’ve had my WFP system (Xero pure w/40’ carbon fiber) for a little while now and I’m really happy with it. To make life easier, I’m thinking for some simple upgrades I would want
1.) Gooseneck (currently just have a basic angle adapter)
2.) Longer hose between the pole and DI/RO output (currently 50’) Is a 100’ or 200’ w/hose reel practical to keep my cart stationary? Up until now, to reach around large buildings I’ve been running 200’ of pocket hose between the spigot and cart, and wheeling it around to whichever side I’m working on. :confounded:
3.) Brush upgrade (I’ve got 2 12" brushes with pencil jets that shipped with the system. I was thinking I’d swap some fan jets into one of those brushes so that I can take care of the hydrophobic panes that I hate.)
Also thinking about a DIY rinse bar and swivel after seeing the constructor brush at work.
Also appealing are the 18" Tucker brushes with 4 jets. If I wanted to take on some heavier commercial jobs would that speed things up?

What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your opinions

i have the standard 50 foot air hose and 60 rhino tube that came with the original wash it reach it package (occassionally i would have to move filter). i have added:
160’ rhino tube (makes total for pole 280’) (might use air hose if doing it again) (have never had to move washit with this length at a home)
320/ feet rhino hose (best hose ever)
swivel for brushes (originally homemade now side2side) (could never go back to no swivel)
the jets on tucker are quite large, you may need a pump occassionally at height and depending on available pressure.
added homemade adapter for nylex brush (now side2side) good overall but fairly heavy.
added tucker hybrid (rarely used, boars hair is thin and wispy, not enough cleaning power for here)
added constructor beast (hated it at first but it is go to now. light, extremely powerful, no such thing as hydrophobic glass any more)
i added elbows which point upwards to di tank so when it rolls over the hoses don’t get damaged.
added hudson backpack sprayer for small very awkward areas or additional pressure.
added tube runner (i never run pole tube inside pole).
added franken tip so i can use regular tools with pole
added handle to ro housing to aid in lifting in’out of van.
going to add pressure gauge to ro

We have a very nice hose cart with handle that will give you 100 feet of 3/8 hose

As for brushes here are some to choose from

Swivel…I love it, screwed a side2side onto my tucker brush.
Yes an 18" would speed things up as it covers more area. I like the Tucker brushes.
Now, if they came with a rinse bar, they would be the perfect brush. A good rinse bar
eliminates having to go to fan jets for hydrophobic glass.
I have a set of goose necks but rarely have a need for them.
I have 150’ of microbore hose on a reel and 60’ of rhinotube at the pole. Covers 90% of what I do
without having to move and reconnect.

For my commercial use I got to have the goose necks on all poles. I connect machine to spigot with a 25’ hose and run long water lines to poles. Machine has 200’ attached and I have 2 -200’ of rhino hose and another 200’ if needed . I do not move the cart typically

Rectus quick connects help us alot

here is my washit/xero with 75’ of rhino hose, 50’ 1/4" inside diameter air hose and 50 feet rhino tube.
usually i roll machine to tap and connect without taking rhino hose off as shown in top pic, unless it is difficult to get to the tap. the bottom shows ready to go back to van with all hose and tube bungied.
the next likely addition is a way to mount the pole on the cart

Where can you get a TDS meter?

No hose reel?

no hose reel at this time. note the hose and tube is not coiled. i’m not sure what the method is called but…
hmmm maybe it’s called flaking. it’s way faster and not likely to tangle.

rhino hose is designed to hand deployed not reel as it goes flat when the pressure stops to expel the water, consequently on a reel it would have to be fully unrolled or it would not allow water thru. 75’ is light and when flaked can be held in one hand.
the air hose and rhino tube is also easy this way.
the length of rhino tube that is 160’ however i have on a plastic cord reel. it’s just too long

here’s a way to coil with not twists but flaking allows me to do it in my hand or right on the wash it, i can also deploy it from the wash it as if it was on a reel as i walk away i give it a flip and the next flake comes off.

That’s pretty cool, thanks!

300’ yellow hose, 50 orange pole hose, rectus fittings (excuse the cable tie)

That’s a lot of range if you hose a centrally located tap!

If I read correctly you have mounted pivot/Side2Side on the Tucker dual trim? Work well ? I did similar with my little Tecbuk and use 2x fan jets works very well and as long as you keep the brush on glass you can control overspray effectively.

yes, tucker brush is flat backed so side2side mounts easy, same holes.

Yes, it was an easy mod to add the side2side. In fact it is easier to put it on the tucker brush than the constructor brush.

so taday i helped a friend doing an old 4 story building using his pole & brush, my wash it/xeropure.
75’ of rhino hose from tap to wash it, then 50’ air hose then 300’ of rhino tube, up 4 stories lots of pressure for the 2 jet brush. no pumps anywhere but there was good pressure at the tap.

thinking of making a kenstructor brush or maybe a cacstractor brush.
