We just became instant friends.

It seems to me that the reason there aren’t a whole lot of straight answers to the question is manifold.

  1. General. Everyone has their preferences for tools, so few are going to say “Yes, best.”

  2. LQ. My observation is that there is about 50/50 chance that one either loves it out of box or curses the thing for not living up to the hype. Guys want to make money, not fiddle with tools all day long for a month straight.

  3. Moerman Message. Few other tools come with such hype from the company that it has “revolutionized the industry”. That you will achieve 0 detailing from the moment you put it to glass and that it will speed things up so much and earn you so much more money.

Some people love it and report no issues. I have worked with the tool and it definitely has it’s place with me. If I was doing resi mostly, yes, I’d use the LQ for most of it, if not all.

I’d credit the off the wall responses here to “Zero-Detailing Fatigue”, or “Liquidator Fatigue”. Not your fault for asking the question but these are some of my observations to provide a little background.
