Some Customers! LOL

I just got a call from a storefront customer I cleaned a couple days ago for the first time. She says she needs a paper copy of the receipt so she can send it in. I told her I emailed it to her store email that her employee gave to me. She says, “Yeaaaahhh, that’s more of a corporate email address that we won’t get.” I tell her, “Oh, no problem. Is there a better email address I can send it to and you can print it.” She tells me, “Yeeaaahhh, I have an email address, but I don’t have a printer so it would be hard for me to print it. Can you just bring it by?” She’s 20 miles away.

At this point I’m pretty amused that someone in 2017 doesn’t have printing capability. Luckily I have a soccer game out there this afternoon.
I tell her that going forward I can print them and ask if she is interested in getting cleaned every 4 weeks. She says, “No we’re quarterly so we only need them every 6 months.” :astonished:

I’m starting to see the problem here.

Mail it to them. Even if it takes you only 5 minutes because you are nearby, you’ll lose more money than a postage stamp.

:joy: Is it a job even worth keeping?

Lol, yeah, I’ve been asking which clients can go paperless and which ones can’t. It’s always interesting. Just be glad she didn’t ask you to fax it over.

But…

Quarterly = 6 months?

Offer a discount if she goes with an annual cleaning every 3 months. Math is hard.
