Thanks to everyone who responded to the website I built for my dad. While I was building the site, I noticed that Australia seems to have very little in the way of window cleaning websites, and nothing even close to the quality of this site. The only site I could find charges $220 to sign up the first year, the $100 every following year. Something I thought was absurd! Clearly so do others as I guess, as I’ve noticed a few Aussies around here.
I do not intend to ‘steal’ members from this site, I am merely looking for some suggestions and criticisms. So if you see something you like, let me know! Or if something is no good, doesn’t work etc, let me know also.
So I’ve been looking for this website I’m a Aussie.
Has it been put in the back burner?? Or still under way?
I agree it would be good as the AWCF wants cash for a non profit organisation!!
Nothing ever came of it most likely because any country can use this forum and this site is to bring together every window cleaner to one location… that’s the perk of the internet you can actually have one single set location for billions to meet… and last I knew aussies speak “English”.
Same in New Zealand. Even though there is a lot of window cleaners here, there’s no online community that I know of at least.
Cost a fortune to get half decent gear here. And when they do have good gear, because of their mark-ups, it’s often just cheaper to order over the net from UK or US anyway. Even with shipping prices.
Would be happy to poke my nose in a forum over the ditch though.
Yeah that’s problem here in oz aswell prices arnt to bad but it’s not like you can drop into a shop and have a look at all the gear. Maybe in a major city somewhere you might find 1 or 2 places.
Pretty much you have to rely on reviews and buy online. That’s why a forum close to home would be the go! So you know what’s hot and who’s not in the online window world👍🏽
