- Before the f4i (Fuel injected) came out. The f4i has two seperate seats instead if one long one.
I’ve had two bikes – 1983 GPz 550 and 1990 FZR600. Nothing currently (damn kids!), but I’ll cruise around on my brother’s Road King from time-to-time.
My bike is a 2004 F4i. 2001 to 2003 had the split seats.
Mine gets between 35 and 40 MPG. It is handy to make calls and check on jobs

Ofcourse they passed some ordinance here in Oklahoma about driving with cell phones and almost everytime I pass a cop he is driving and talking on his cell.

A study from researchers at the University of Utah, published in the summer 2006 issue of Human Factors, the quarterly journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, concludes that talking on a cellphone while driving is as dangerous as driving drunk, even if the phone is a hands-free model.
Seems to be a lot of inconclusive data, and diverse crunching of it, with this particular issue…seems a little extreme, sometimes.
