Most Useless Tool in Window Cleaning

Ah the true mark of a window cleaner-- the ol’ wet pant leg. I wonder if they have a slosh foot protector on the market yet? LOL!

Steve

40’ “monster pole”.

“Docket rubber cutter”

“dual hose” wfp

8-Track “audio” of window cleaning instructions

8-Tack player…for same. (awesome for older Jimmy Hendrix though)

Why do you think so?
I’d like to input your thought because we’re considering whether to buy or not.

Also surprised at the the “docket”, I thought the whole idea of the three lengths in the Sörbo channel was for cutting the rubber down & pushing the rubber forward a notch.
Perhaps Sörbo should rethink the squeegee if they have no buyers?

I have two sets of these and work great, saves time for me.

I dont recommended for residential use.

Commercial windows, use two poles at a time one to wet and one to squeegee.

pulex soft rubber. Im sure it may work slightly better in the cold, but anything above 60 degrees, and it always seems to leave a fine “mist” behind. Ettore all the way!

Leftys are the only people in their “right” mind!!

Check out the Wagtail Flipper on You Tube.

After many years of climbing ladders and hanging on ropes, I clean windows with either hand equally well. If I am moving left to right down the row of windows, I wash right, squeegee with left. If I am moving right to left down the row, I wash left, squeegee right. I wear a double holster on each side of my belt. I have to agree that the tricket is pretty useless…

The most valuable tool I have ever bought is my Palmer rubber cutter…

my most valuable tool is a squeegee…

With all the nifty tools at our disposal & there are many. I must say the best thing yet or…the hottest thing since sliced bread a has to be the BOAB “bucket on a belt”

I would love to know where you got this tool as a giveaway!!

I feel I should defend the wagtail here.

The Flipper is great for regular shop/store work where on a weekly clean there is little dirt.

The Flipper pad isn’t so great if the windows are dirty and you need to scrub.

The Wagtail itself as a squeegee is anything but a useless tool!

I’ve heard bad reports about the previous plastic versions, and I can’t comment because I’ve only used the aluminium version and have been using it about 3 months.

If someone says they don’t see the benefit of a Wagtail squeegee for pole work - then IMO they are not using it properly.

Agreed Mark. Alex and I have been having good fun with ours. Its actually a very useful tool. We hope to have videos up early next week…

Mark I have had my wagtail about a week now. I couldn’t use the flipper pad because I do 90% residential and it gets dirty to quick, but using it just as a squeegee it took me a day or so to get good at using it but now I have fun with it and my guys now want one as well

Thank you for the supportive words
