They are from Anaheim. That’s another discussion. I hated when the new owners changed the name. To me they are the CA Angels. I grew up 10 miles from a Dodger stadium. I’ve been to many more Dodger games than Angels. I’m bummed Idaho doesn’t have a pro team.

the cards are the organization i respect the most in the nl. they draft well, spend money wisely and avoid ugly backloaded contracts. the al teams dont really have that luxury. the twins and a’s follow that model and are usually competitive/good, but when it comes to going over the top and getting to the series, they fall short.
baseball is broken until they level the playing field between the leagues. selig’s retirement can’t come soon enough. rumours of dombrowski moving into that role are circulating. that would be a +1 for the league- a guy who’s worked in both leagues, has no conflict of interest (ie. selig’s connection with the brewers) and who knows how it all flows from single a to the big show.

If the LAD don’t sweep at home, they are done. As a die hard Rangers fan, I’ve seen what these Cards can do in October. That’s a great organization and somehow they just know how to win in the post season. Great win tonight but you better get the next two.
I would love to see a LAD/DET world series.
