Huge office building help

Has anyone ever done a huge commercial building with only two guys?. My business consists of me and one other worker and a cleaning company wants a bid to subcontract me for interior and exterior windows for a very large building. I have no idea how long this building will take to complete with only two guys however, i know another small company near me that only has two guys and they are older in age and they clean a entire small University’s campus windows themselves and I think they carve out the whole month of August for that. Anyways, this building has 1,189 panes and they want in and out done twice a year. I would have to get a waterfed pole for about 60ft for the exterior which i have never used before. I am not sure how to bid it or if i should even give it a try because of the size of my business. I drove by the business and left and said to myself that this is too big for us. However, I went back and said to myself I may have to give it a shot. The cleaning company also said it may lead to 5 other buildings and the contact for this building would be 5 years. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

We have 20 properties we do like that 2 times a year. I have one man crews and they can do a building that size in 4 to 5 days. The inside takes longer because of office space and things in the way like desk and blinds. Do not be afraid just take it in bite sizes. I can help you with tools needed and if you send me pictures I will help you quote the job.

Number of panes X minutes to clean one pane

This will give you a good base number. Let’s say it takes you 3 minutes per pane, that is 3,567 minutes or just about 60 hours of work. If you and a guy can do 16 hours of work a day will take at least 4 days. Add in other random stuff, could be a 5-6 day job.

If it takes more time, say 5 minutes per pane you could be looking at a 2 week job! Need to be careful in your calculations.
