How to build a half section for Metallic ladder and other stuff about what you're doing with a rained out day. :D

This is what I call the peg:

Ha… That’s funny.
I guess I never had a name for it.
No wonder I had no idea.

(I’m an idiot)

Thanks for clarifying, man.

Haha, you’re definitely not an idiot (in this context, anyway ;)). I had to think about it for a little bit and say, “what the heck should I call this piece, for the sake of my tutorial?” I didn’t have a word for it before I needed one, and I just used what made the most sense to me. But my brain definitely doesn’t work the same way as at least 89% of the rest of the population…

It’s the thingy that goes inside the deal where you put the whatsits pins in.

I’ll refer to it as that, from now on.

I think I have some older pieces that seem shorter/stick out less at ‘the Peg.’
Because you made me look at your pics and then examine mine, and the ones that are newer seem to stick out more.

I’ll take a look at my personal set tomorrow and compare it to the rest of my guys’.

Because I know I also have a couple that don’t have holes for safety pins.

  • I’m starting to thin there was a major switch in production at one point.

It’s funny, when I saw Jared quoted Alex’s “you’re not an idiot”

  • I fully was expecting to read “yes. He is.”

Complex?
Insecurity?
Ball busting friends?

Take your pick.

I may make fun of Detroit (but let face it, it’s Detroit but at least it’s not Chicago - your car might get stolen in Detroit, but you’ll get shot in Chicago), but I’d never make fun of you.

Plus, you’ve got to know more than me because I cannot stand sectional ladders so I assume that I’m missing something.

Some of them are :).

There I fixed it. :joy:
