How many storefronts can you clean in a day

So im assuming you prefer the weekly stop over the monthly (4wk) stops. I can see a few benifits to it one being less hunting for new clients to fill the schedule (but thats half the fun.) Whats your reasoning behind the shift from monthly (4wks) to bi weekly and then bi weekly to weekly Luke?

Not necessarily. Of course res is better money but we are growing with both. When I started my business I never wanted to wait for the phone to ring so I attacked the store front side first. Our res has grown significantly over the years but Iā€™ve never liked the down time over the winter. So for us store fronts are a good fit. We enjoy the work either way . I will admit growing the store front side of the buisness can be down right frustrating at times and difficult to get the good paying jobs but in the long run I believe if you really give it a 110% it pays off.

Simple. Increase in sales. We are always going after new buisness but by shifting them to more cleanings they have a better looking store and we have doubled our sales on those accounts.

i also like the storefronts for the winter, but i donā€™t have time for them in the summer, so jist recently iā€™m hiring a friend ro take care of them through the summer and iā€™ll get back to them during the winter time. he owns a coffee shop and closes usually between 2-3 so he has a few hours a day to clean windows, he knows customer service since he owns his own business. heā€™s only done about 12-15 stops so far but everything iā€™ve heard so far has been good.

Since the topic is ā€œHow many storefronts can you clean in a day.ā€

I think the next logical things to cover would beā€¦

  • What days seem to be best for you to do your route?

To us 6 days a week work well, Sunday off.

  • What time of day do you start your routes?

Start time 8:00 am, we like to avoid lunch time 11:00-1:00 (we use this time to recoup and regroup) for the lunch time crowd and normally stop before the dinner rush.

We/I use to start route work at 6am but during the winter 6am is ā€œbrutalā€, so we moved the start time to 8am (squeegee on the glass) you sometimes have the help of the sun.

I wish every business was that way , because I would get xtra cheese on my sandwiches , an pizza everywhere

Yo man whatā€™s up you donā€™t want to build a realshonship with me. Unreal one slice of cheese ā€¦ Really.

Well they donā€™t give it to me an I keep going back :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My Mitto is if itā€™s dirty it requires more on the first Clean. How much depends on how bad it is. Sometimes itā€™s not bad at all an it doesnā€™t require it.

I still believe you can have a realshonship with a customer even if you charger them more for more labor. They get it !!

Skipper if donā€™t mind me asking can you post a pic of what you consider a store front, the reason i ask is i think you might be envisioning something different then me/us.

The reason it caught my attention you said ā€œThe jobs are long and hardā€ā€¦

Here a pic of a store front in my bookā€¦
