Sheesh, and I thought Hobby Lobby put their decorations out early. Seriously, July? This is getting ridiculous.
Personally I agree.
Professionally it’s nice to have all the work. We do more installs in Oct than Nov now. Know of one company that starts in Sept.
I am putting 5% of of my time to lights, figuring out general order and this years pricing, marketing after that, more hands.

With Christmas in July, why not? I’m already thinking about wood stoves and time off.

How does one get into the Christmas light business? Your method looks like a really good suppliment to our industry. Any links or referrals will be greatly appreciated.
There is one good facebook group for it run by a guy who in a way franchies’ it. At least that is what I assume he does.
I was lucky to work for a guy back in the 90’s to get my feet wet.
Easiest way is to reach out to clients and offer to do it. Total headache.
Or check out American Lighting…several others but I do not know there names for sure.
Quality lights are the way to go. Everyone is much happier.
