GANA Re*Approves Informational Bulletins

(TOPEKA) - The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced today that
two of its Glass Informational Bulletins (GIB) were re-approved after the customary five
year review process modeled after that of ASTM International. Heat-Treated Glass
Surfaces Are Different and Construction Site Protection of Architectural Glass were both
reapproved by GANA’s Tempering Division.

“Our review process calls for all GANA GIB’s to be reviewed and either reapproved or
modified every five years,” said Brian Pitman, Director of Marketing and
Communications for GANA. “The GANA Tempering Division felt that both these
documents, originally published in 2002 and 2003, still provided excellent information
for the industry in which we serve.”

Both documents are available as free downloads from the GANA website at
www.glasswebsite.com/techcenter. The original documents have been downloaded well
more than 10,000 times each since their original publishing dates.

Im glad you posted it as well for all of our fellow WC’ers to see! As far as talk from the TGQ on the matter nothing yet, although im sure it will be discussed.

Doesn’t really come as a surprise as this is the 5 year renewal for the BULLetins.

However…you can bet your bottom dollar i’ll keep on top of it and keep everyone who’s interested informed;)
