so I got ccu job, it around 400 window, all windows needed to to be scrap of paint ect…, just curious what are y’all charging Per pane on those? I quoted him 1400$ but he said someone else bidded him 900$,
I still felt 1400 was still kinda low
You can never bid too high on a CCU. Depending how bad the windows are with paint and other residue I’d say around $10 per window at least.
we just put in 8 hours on a CCU where we charged $15 per pane for 1st floor and $20 per pane for 2nd story, even at that (3 and 4x our regular per pane price) we’re just about the same as we are hourly when doing regular cleans.
Generally speaking, 2.5-3 x regular price; some jobs are so bad even more needs to be charged.
Size of window, amount of debris, type of debris determines price. Go cheap and you will hate your life.
What size are these windows?..portholes on a ship? You’re pricing is less than $4/window…
400 windows at $900?
I hope the guy has insurance because they are about to get ruined.
For real! $2.25 per window for a Construction Clean Up? All risk, not even standard clean pricing, they will quit half way through or go stand in the unemployment line afterwards.
Those prices are ridiculous for a 400 pane CCU job.
Just a guess, but if this is a true CCU job, you should be relieved to not get the job at $1400. You should stop by and hug the guy who bid it at $900. He will need a hug and encouraging word or two.
Did a CCU last month that was almost entirely French panes (close to 450 I think) and the bill came to about $2500. I only do my hourly rate on CCU’s, take it or leave it.
So I should have mentioned these windows are to be cleaned outside only… but regardless I can’t compete with 900$, I talk to the Contracter he said the other guy charges him per the day… not per the pane like I do, he said “charging by the pane is Wierd to him” and I told him " that’s the way most of us do it, I have never really heard of charging per the day"… point is I lost this bid… o well good riddance
Per day? Hahaha what the heck? I am sure his electric company charges per day and not the amount of electricity he uses lol
This was a good loss to have; you didn’t have to work for it.
Now you can concentrate on a worthy job.
Right, there is way easier money out there to be made.
