What are windbreaks?

Glass rails on a balcony

Are you adding anything extra to your bucket?

Nope

just a scraper usually does the trick.

All of this type of glass made in the last 15 years or so seems to scratch at mention of the word scraper. So be careful with that thing.

I used simple green and dawn wet 2 at a time then used that blue pad and bugs just wiped away!
This wall has never looked like this before and was finished in half the time

Good job man! The simple green probably softened up the bugs. In my area the stuff that really sticks to glass railings is tree stuff. Will have to try that.

Excellant. I need to look closer at these pads that 3M has. Need to get close to steel wool with a particle around 4.5 on the mohs scale. Then coat a skinny strip of velcro with it for a vertical mop. I have visions for an entire line of scrubbing strips for our applicators. Coupled with my SKRUB in a solvent solution. Bug spots won’t have a chance. Not even shotgun fungi !!!

Good post about windbreaks. They are probably made of lami glass. But can you imaging the liability during a hurricane? Unless they drop down into the ground like those sliding doors.

Henry

That mix handled a ton of dog snot today without any extra scrubbing. Just be careful of were it drips…it leaves clean spots on dirty decks
