Booster pump finished

Finished setting up our RHG 90 psi booster pump for our new xero pure yesterday. We made our box so that the battery can be charged without removing the cover and has a battery charge indicator.

Looks nice!

Now all you need is a low profile 50-65 gallon tank for the bed of the pickup

There’s nothing more gratifying than pulling up and knocking out a slew of frenchies in the same amount of time as it takes to unload a ladder.

Yeah we are still using it as a portable system. That was a ton of work to make lol. So i want to wait a bit before i set it all up to run from the truck. Wont take much just another reel mounted to the truck and some extra hose

Haha, I can tell. I wish my home-built stuff came out looking as nice as that.

Is that a sealed battery? Don’t want it leaking…

Yes it is

Open the hood, we want to see

here is my battery pack. shown is the bottom portion of one of my hudson never pump sprayer wired as follows>
trailer connection direct from battery which can plug in to my 15 gallon tank with it’s own pump and it’s own remote control.
fimco remote control for the sprayer itself.
so the unit can power itself and the truck tank at the same time or be carried to where required.

most of the time i get good pressure but occassionally i have work out of town from private wells. wash it still puts out enough water usually but no pressure so i run the filtered water into a hudson and then use the hudson to feed the pole. i don’t think the hudson would work before the filter, volume too low.

I think after 6 months of loading and unloading you will be ready to go with a tank based system. The new Firemans hose is really lite and does not take up much space. You could use it to hook up to the water source. I know you work out of a SUV so space is limited.
