Well, right now I live in an apartment building, and while there is a recycling program, I wouldn’t know whether they would accept it or not. The super might while she is sifting thru the recycling, throw it out, or the city might take it to the depot, and only there see that the squeegee is not recyclable. The only real way to know would be to call, and I don’t really car enough to call, seeing that I very rarely break a squeegee, so I rarely would think of whether it is recyclable.
I do recycle my other waste, like I recycle paper, pop cans, water bottles, etc.
I am very familiar with the City’s recycling program, because I used to live in a house and had to sort my recycling from the garbage.
But something that might break only once a year, or once every 2 years is not something high on my list of priorities to see if it’s recyclable. If I was running a huge window cleaning company perhaps I would care.
In the recycling industry, metals are sorted by type (aluminum, copper, steel, etc.) and then further by alloy (aluminum cans, extruded window frames, foil, sheet, etc.) and then further still in many cases, including clean versus contaminated. It’s all about chemical makeup.
At the household recycling process level, the local trash collector puts into place a community program to separate recyclables from trash and yard waste. The focus is on clean versus contaminated by food. Their message may, unfortunately, be directed toward only those household items they believe will assist their customers in making decisions on how to separate.
Speaking for them how? I see no one offering up any (believe me we have not been tossing them on behalf of WCR), So I figure no one gets rid of them… why would they? That is what I m basing it on.
This vendetta should have not made it’s way on to this guys post. He wants , what’s wrong with that? Don’t forget MANY of us love products and you know that anytime there is a bashing of a liked product, tempers flare.
Your personal feeling on and the all out war you are doing on this forum is getting old. It is much like going onto a music forum and saying Robert Plant is an a-hole so we are breaking their cds… even worse when the people who perpetuate this are the mods.
Chris and Alex love. They want to sell it in their store, yet their hitting a brick wall. I understand Alex’s frustration. He has no vendetta against them, he just wants to sell a great product.
Alex and Chris are the most repsectful, good-natured guys I know on this forum. They have nothing but respect for product line. Alex is just a little frustrated. Cut him some slack.
whoa Mike, I have cut them some slack. I have been biting my tongue for months. I have a GREAT personal and business relationship outside of this forum with Chris, so please don’t tell me to let up. I get a little bothered because it has turned into childish antics.
“They wont let us play so they are poo-poo faces”
I REALLY, REALLY want the WCR to carry. I am EXTREMELY aware that Alex and Chris like the products.
but this tactic is aimed at as a whole, and it is wrong. If it were me saying the things and attacking and their products constantly, what do you think would happen? Chaos
Why should they get a pass? just because they can’t sell it? poor WCR? We like to kiss their arse? why?
You are correct I acted inappropriately. I apologize for it, I just got carried away with the whole thing. We really wont be saying to much about it anymore. We are done with the whole thing.
BUT… I swear that we will never ever under any circumstances carry there products. I will not be able to forget how we were treated by him. ( VERY POORLY )
