About the XERO RO Guardian
Use XERO RO Guardian to prevent bacterial growth on your RO membrane during long periods of inactivity or while in winter storage. Mix with one gallon of pure water or RV anti-freeze, if freezing is possible. Remove the cap on the RO housing and pour the RO Protection solution directly onto the membrane, cap the waste port, and keep it inside the membrane until you are ready to use again. It is packaged as a dry, stable, nonreactive powder for easy transport and storage, and also rinses off easily when ready to remove.

Does the RO Guardian need to be dumped out before use again?
We recommend removing the DI Cartidge, installing a new carbon filter, and flushing for several minutes to get any remaining RO guardian out when you are ready to restart your system.
