About the Unger Black Series Power Washer Sleeve

The Unger Black Series includes this limited edition microfiber sleeve. Made from 100% polyester, the thirsty fibers drink up water and cleaning solution for an efficient application on windows. This sleeve also features a scrub pad on one end for those tougher spots like stuck on bugs or bird droppings. This sleeve has a tight fit on the Unger T-bars, so it won't rotate and spin on you. Instead, it stays in place with an elastic band on the inside with velcro closure. When it gets too dirty, throw it in your washing machine and tumble dry it.

*Very tight on Sörbo T-Bars

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • What is the best way to clean this sleeve after a couple of jobs? I used laundry detergent to wash it and feel like it was applying the water to the glass pretty weird.

Hey there, washing it in the washing machine with laundry detergent may have damaged the fabric in two ways: 1. The water could have been too hot 2. The detergent has thick, slippery glycerin, and the detergent itself could have been too concentrated and left a film on the fabric. Perhaps try using either a diluted castile soap or diluted dish soap (Dawn, etc) and hand wash in a slop sink with warm/cold water, not hot. The hot water can damage the fabric, and especially don't put it in the dryer, as the high heat will remove the special elements of the microfiber.

  • How does the black series compare for water retention with the green microstrip that holds 6x its weight in water? The blurb says 20% more than standard microfiber, but does that include the microstrip?

Yes, the Black Series Sleeve holds more water than any other Unger Sleeve.
