About the Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover

Cleaning hard water stains is back-breaking and time-consuming work, but it doesn’t have to be with this heavy-duty stain-removing solution. Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover removes and cleans a slew of things, such as mineral deposits, acid rain, cement-leaching silica, screen burn, soap scum, oxidation, scale, lime, corrosion, chalking, and rust. It works best when applied with a white scrub pad or steel wool.

The Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover has a non-acid formula that contains a uniquely engineered abrasive that greatly speeds up cleaning and restoration of most surfaces, including glass, porcelain, fiberglass, aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, tile, and everything washable. The non-acid, water-based, biodegradable formula is also safe to use on and around natural stone. Cleaning with the A-1 stain remover can also leave metals looking brighter while adding a protective layer on the surface.

Get rid of nasty calcium stains, mineral buildup, and more using the A-1 stain-removing solution. Save time and energy cleaning windows, glass, stainless steel, and other surfaces with this highly effective cleaning solution!

How to Use Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover:

  • Always test the product on a small area before using. Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover is safe to use on plastic, plastic laminates, and marble. However, repeated scrubbing and buffing can leave scratches on these surfaces. This stain remover should not be used on optical coatings and lacquered brass. When using the product, make sure to guard surrounding vehicles and surfaces from splatters. Wipe clean any splatters or wash and dry.
  • Use a 3M white pad or felt pad. Dampen the pad with water and then apply the A-1 solution. Work on a small area until stains disappear. Can be wiped with a rag or paper towel, or rinsed with water or a window cleaning solution.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is this product ok to use on vinyl windows from PGT to remove water stains?

Yes, but we always test the product on a small area before using it. Titan A-1 Hard Water Stain Remover is safe to use on plastic, however, repeated scrubbing and buffing can leave scratches on these surfaces.

  • is this product safe on low e glass?

What cleaner we would recommend for Low-E glass will depend on what side of the glass the low-e coating is on. If the coating is between the panes, you can clean the glass as normal. However, without knowing more about the window, we would suggest avoiding any kind of abrasive stain remover such as Titan A-1. If the coating is not between the panes, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the window itself to get an appropriate recommendation for cleaning the low-e coated side of the pane.

  • Would A1 be safe on PPG Solar Cool Bronze Reflective Tempered glass. The cleaning instruction says no abrasive or acidic cleaners.

We would not recommend this for the glass you are referencing since it contains an abrasive in its formula. A non-acidic, non abrasive option would be something like Dawn, or similar.

  • Will this remove hard water from Hardiboard siding?

This should be a good choice, but as always, we highly recommend testing a very small area before a full treatment for desired results.

  • If you get white dry spots on painted wood isn it easy to remove? If so how do i clean off dry A1 off painted wood

This is a great question! It is typically easy to remove with a damp sponge or cloth, you can gently agitate, or place the wet sponge on top of the dry A-1 to return it to a liquid state and wipe off.

  • Isnthis products are ready to use or is concentrated thank you

This product is ready to use. It is suggested to apply a small amount to a wet 3M pad or rag to scrub with.

  • How much of this do you need per cleaning session For 20 window panes How do you add per gallon of water per say?

It depends on what you are using it for. Please see the Usage Instructions on our product page for further information. https://windowcleaner.com/mwdownloads/download/link/id/264/
