About the Petzl Transport Bag

Built for regular to intensive professional use, this durable pack is available in three sizes, 30, 45, and 60 liters, so you can find the right fit for whatever the job demands. All three are constructed from high-strength TPU tarp material that resists UV exposure, oil, grease, and extreme temperatures, with a welded bottom for extra protection against abrasion and tearing.

One of the standout features of the TRANSPORT is its freestanding design. In other words, it stays upright on its own, which means you can leave it open on the ground and actually access your gear without it tipping over and spilling everything. Three exterior handles make it easy to grab from any angle; the upper handle is rated to haul the pack up to 50 kg (110 lbs), and the interior handle lets you hang it open at a workstation. You can also connect a Petzl BUCKET rope bag to the shoulder strap loops and carry it in front; a smart setup for those hauling a lot of gear at once.

Comfort wasn't an afterthought either. The 30-liter has a padded back panel and shoulder straps, while the 45 and 60-liter step it up with a padded waist belt as well. All of the sizes use thermoformed foam to keep things comfortable even under heavy loads. The upper flap features a transparent pocket for quick identification and a closed pocket for personal items or small tools.
