About the Petzl ROLLCLIP A

The ROLLCLIP A makes rigging faster and cleaner without adding bulk. This compact pulley-carabiner features a gate opening on the pulley side, so installing the rope is easy even when the pulley is already fixed to the anchor.

The sheave runs on sealed ball bearings for smooth rope movement at 85% efficiency, handling ropes from 7 to 13 mm (0.28"–0.51") in diameter. The keylock system prevents snagging during placement, and the H cross-section gives the carabiner a strong strength-to-weight ratio while protecting markings from abrasion. Rated to 20 kN on the major axis with a 4 kN maximum working load.

Pair it with a CAPTIV positioning bar to keep loading on the major axis and limit flipping risk. It also works as a directional point on the lower attachment of an ASCENSION rope clamp for short ascents, or with a RESCUCENDER rope clamp.

Available in TRIACT-LOCK (automatic triple-action locking gate) or non-locking versions for quick, repeated rope installation. Both are built from lightweight aluminum with a 3-year guarantee.
