About the Petzl NEWTON Fast MEWP Kit

The Petzl NEWTON Fast MEWP Kit offers a ready-to-use fall protection solution that complies with ANSI standards for workers operating at elevated heights using a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) like a boom lift, scissor lift, or bucket truck. This kit includes a NEWTON Fast fall arrest harness, a pre-assembled ABSORBICA-I VARIO fall arrest lanyard, and a black BUCKET 15 bag. For quick and easy installation, simply connect the carabiner on the shock-absorber end to the designated fall arrest attachment point on the NEWTON Fast harness, and the carabiner on the other end to the approved fall arrest anchor point within the MEWP.

Petzl NEWTON Fast

The NEWTON Fast is an ergonomically designed fall arrest harness that's lightweight and easy to use. It features padded shoulder straps to ensure comfort and FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops to allow the harness to be put on with both feet on the ground. With added equipment loops and slots, this harness allows for immediate access to tools. The textile sternal attachment point, along with the metal and textile dorsal attachment points, allows for great versatility. Additionally, this harness has MGO connectors and fall indications for added safety. The NEWTON Fast is certified to North American, European, and Russian standards.

Petzl ABSORBICA-I VARIO

The ABSORBICA-I VARIO is an adjustable energy-absorbing lanyard. This device is designed to be used along a horizontal rope or on an elevated platform without passing intermediate anchors. It can safely handle weights between 110 and 308 lbs and features the VARIO adjustment system, which allows the lanyard length to be adjusted in order to reduce potential fall height. Additionally, this lanyard comes pre-assembled with two Bm’D connectors and two CAPTIV positioning bars.

Petzl BUCKET 15

The Petzl NEWTON Fast MEWP Kit comes equipped with a sleek black BUCKET 15 bag so that you can easily transport and hold your harness and lanyard. This convenient bag utilizes a roll-top closure with a securing buckle, two durable handles to carry, and a zipper pocket on the outside. It is crafted with strong TPU tarn material and is resistant to UV, extreme temperatures, oil, and grease.
