About the Petzl Newton Fast Harness

The Petzl Newton Fast Harness is a lightweight, ergonomic fall-arrest harness designed for professionals who need to get geared up quickly without sacrificing comfort or security throughout the day.

The standout feature is the FAST LT PLUS buckle system on both the leg loops and sternal strap. It lets you put on the harness with ease, fasten and unfasten without losing your adjustment, and do it all with gloves on. The unlocking system also reduces the risk of accidental unfastening, so once you're in, you're in. The shoulder straps are equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for quick, easy adjustment, and they're widely spaced and padded to keep neck chafing to a minimum over a long shift.

Attachment points cover all the bases: a textile sternal point and anodized aluminum dorsal point both handle fall-arrest systems, while a second dorsal point is dedicated to self-retracting lanyards. The shoulder straps also include a stowing system for MGO connectors that releases them and allows the absorber to deploy properly in a fall event.

For day-to-day use, two equipment loops and two TOOLBAG pouch slots keep your gear within reach. A red fall indicator appears at the sternal or dorsal attachment point after a fall, signaling the harness needs to be retired.

Available in two sizes covering a waist range of 70–120 cm (27.5–47 in) and statures of 165–200 cm (65–79 in), in black/yellow or all black. Certified to North American, European, and Russian standards.
