About the Petzl JANE-I Lanyard

Sometimes the simplest piece of kit makes the biggest difference and the JANE-I is proof of that. This non-adjustable dynamic rope lanyard is designed to be combined with an ABSORBICA energy absorber, giving you a complete single energy-absorbing lanyard with a maximum total length of two meters. It's a straightforward, dependable component that slots right into your fall arrest system without any fuss.

One of the small but genuinely useful details is the plastic sheath at the terminations. It holds the carabiner in the right position, makes clipping faster and easier, and protects the rope end from abrasion at the same time. The JANE-I can also be used to set up a temporary anchor, either directly to an anchor point or looped around a suitable structure, giving you a bit of extra versatility when you need it.

Each lanyard has space for individual ID markings on the sheath, making it easy to track throughout its service life. The JANE-I is available in four lengths: 60 cm (23.62 in), 100 cm (39.37 in), and 150 cm (59.06 in). Lightweight, practical, and built to integrate seamlessly with the rest of your Petzl system.
