About the Petzl EXO AP Hook

When the job takes you to heights where a reliable anchor point isn't guaranteed, the Petzl EXO AP Hook gives you a compact personal escape option for when things get complicated. Designed for window cleaners and high-rise professionals working in environments where anchor points can't always be counted on.

The multipurpose HOOK anchor works two ways: looped around a structure with a locking hitch, or placed on a window sill as a last resort. The self-braking mechanism lets you move horizontally, exit through a window, or descend in a controlled manner, and if you pull too hard on the handle, the built-in anti-panic function brakes and stops the descent automatically.

The 15 m (49 foot) aramid fiber rope resists abrasion and high temperatures, the 7.5 mm (0.3 inch) diameter keeps it lightweight and manageable, and the Am'D connector with CAPTIV bar stays properly oriented at all times.
