About the Petzl ASTRO Harness

Built for rope access technicians, the ASTRO delivers all-day comfort from first ascent to last descent.

Shoulder straps, waistbelt, and leg loops are lined with breathable material and 3D foam padding. The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops give a close, supportive fit without restricting movement, and elastic leg loop bands hold their adjustment whether walking or hanging.

The gated ventral attachment point connects a PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyard directly without a separate connector, and the integrated CROLL L rope clamp attaches straight to the ventral point for efficient ascents. Two foldable side metal attachment points allow a positioning lanyard in double mode and fold flat when not in use. FAST opening buckles on the leg loops and shoulder strap, plus DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles, make it quick to put on and adjust.

Seven equipment loops, two CARITOOL slots, two TOOLBAG loops, and an INTERFAST connection system keep gear within reach. A fall indicator on the dorsal attachment point signals when the harness needs retiring after a fall.
