About the MIO Rope Connection Plate
The Rope Connection plate Model RCP-5834 is used to terminate a 5/8” diameter 3-strand rope, while Model RCP-12716 terminates 7/16” and 1/2” double-braided, or kernmantle rope lifeline. The plate provides a quick reusable field termination that eliminates the need for knots and factory termination.

What is the tensile strength of the Model RCP-12716 Termination plate.
According to the MIO manual, this Termination plate has a fall arrest rating for one person not to exceed a total weight of 310 lbs (including tools), a rescue capacity of two persons of a combined weight of 600 lbs, and a minimun breaking strength of 5,000 lbs.
