About the MIO Rack Descender with Overspeed Control Mechanism

This Rack type descender is unique with two built-in mechanisms; Automatic Overspeed Control, and a Lever Break Control. The Automatic Overspeed Control ensures a complete stop if the speed goes over the allowed parameters without the operator's involvement. The Lever Break Control Mechanism permits the operator to vary the speed and brake at any time by moving the lever. The user can descend from a full "stop" to a full "go". There is also a rescue position that allows a rescuer to gain the full ability to control the victim's descent.
