Made from durable steel, this professional-grade stabilizer is easy to install on your ladder and features two heavy-duty plastic tips to prevent scrapes and scratches. It is also approved for use with ladder jacks and meets ANSI and OSHA standards for type 1AA ladders with a special duty rating of #375. 

Unlike the original Ladder-Max Stand-Off Stabilizer, this Pro version offers the flexibility of customization through the purchase of compatible Ladder-Max extension pieces. These extension pieces include:

Ladder-Max Multi-Pro Extender - This extension is available in three sizes: 13-inch, 19-inch, and 24-inch. When attached to this stabilizer, these extensions provide additional standoff distance from the wall or surface you are working on.

Ladder-Max Multi-Pro Wide Extender - Measuring 51 inches long, this wide extension allows you to span across a 4-foot window. 

By combining the Ladder-Max Stand-Off Stabilizer with these compatible extension pieces (sold separately), users can adjust the standoff distance according to their specific needs and have better control and stability when using the ladder. This improved version allows for a more versatile and safer experience during various ladder-related tasks.

This stabilizer is compatible with a wide range of ladders, including those made of aluminum, wood, and fiberglass. It accommodates extension ladders as well as articulating ladders from brands like Werner, Louisville, Howard, Gorilla, Little Giant, and Green Bull.

However, it's important to note that the Ladder-Max Multi-Pro Stand-Off Stabilizer is not suitable for use with Metallic Ladder products because the stabilizer requires a rung with a minimum length of 12 inches to function correctly.
