About the Guardian Class 0 Electric Gloves

Guardian Class 0 gloves are designed for professionals working on or near energized photovoltaic (PV) systems during inspection, maintenance, and cleaning. Crafted from high-quality Natural Rubber, these gloves meet rigorous ASTM D120 standards, ensuring reliability and protection.

Guardian Class 0 gloves provide a maximum use rating of 1,500 VDC and are proof tested at 5,000 VAC in accordance with ASTM D120. Ideal for commercial and industrial applications, these gloves are designed to support electrical safety programs based on OSHA requirements and NFPA 70E electrical safe work practices.

Each pair of Guardian Class 0 Electric Gloves undergoes thorough testing for blow-out current and milliamp leakage, then is packed individually with user instructions for ease of use. They come boxed with industry-standard identification, guaranteeing they meet all ASTM D120 requirements.

Electrical insulating gloves protect against electrical shock but do not provide protection from the thermal effects of an arc flash. Where an electrical risk assessment identifies an arc flash hazard, appropriate arc-rated (FR) clothing, eye and face protection, and other PPE should also be worn.
