About the CRL Cerium Oxide Polishing Compound
Cerium Oxide is a high-grade optical polishing compound for removing and polishing scratches from mirror bevels, table top edges, television face plates, and glass in vehicles or structures. It can be mixed with water to produce a paste or slurry. This compound has superior suspension qualities and won't harden. Contains no zinc oxide and meets most local disposal ordinances.
Economical to use, it requires 2º-5º Baume concentration instead of the usual 5º-10º Baume needed by competitive brands. Compatible with most polishing pads and can be used in both low and high-speed equipment with recirculating systems. Comes in a 1 lb tub.
