Two New York City window cleaners fell 47 stories; one to his death. This issue of the American Window Cleaner magazine opens with AWC contributor Gary Mauer reporting on the story. Mauer reports there was human error and mechanical error at play. Both window cleaners were not hooked up to their safety lines while also not being certified.

In a battle to attract and retain talent, many employers have pulled out all the stops when it comes to employee benefits.
