US-based window cleaner Don Chute and England-based window cleaner Craig Malwam teamed up to create the Reach & Wash System in this issue of the American Window Cleaner magazine. The Window Cleaning Network Picnic held its 10th annual meetup. It featured demonstrations, roundtable discussions, networking opportunities, and a BBQ.

She first starts by explaining the many different types of ropes such as dynamic, static, and low-stretch. Ramirez advises storing your ropes in a cool place, keeping your ropes clean, and a ton of other helpful tips.

Shoulder, elbow, and wrist pain are all too common for window cleaners. AWC contributor Amber Twist puts window cleaners in the high-risk category for joint damage and arthritis due to repetitive cleaning motions. Twist recommends that the first line of defense is to take preventative measures such as warming up your joints before work.
