They have been calling like crazy.
Sounds like Yelp.
Donāt give them a dime or theyāll take your whole wallet
Exactly @IronLionZion!!..Iāve made the decision to go solely with Google AdWords as far as online advertisingā¦It has been incredibly successfulā¦
Do you have any resources on this I can read/watch for how to get started with adwords? Howād you learn?
I just googledā¦Google Adwordsā¦It pretty much walks you through it. You do have to sign up for a google account if you donāt have oneā¦but The part of it I like is there is NO contractā¦no minimum amount to spendā¦you can spend as much or as little as you want. You can even decide what days and what times you want the ad to appearā¦
The hard part is writing an effective ad, because you have limited characters in the ad.
Thanks a ton!
I will stay far away
i know a windie who was almost pulled under by YP. he signed up for the website deal, but it had hidden extra charges which were crucifying . anyway he was in it for a year . he told me that he got results from it that were miserly
anyhow ,after his contract was over they retained his website address. thats the real rub, you lose your name to them . i once got a phone call by YP offering me a couple of local window cleaning website addresses,no doubt these previously had belonged to ex customers of theirs who had been milked for the obligatory year. the salesman wanted Ā£100 for each or would cut a deal Ā£160 for both. i offered āĀ£10 for both and not a penny moreā and the conver ended then and there!
Adwords can be incredibly powerful if set up right.
You also have to be willing to spend, but at least the results are quantifiable, and you have full control over it.
Facebook ads are also great for getting you brand in front of people.
I have an article coming out in EClean this month on the pros and cons of each. Check it out!
THAT is an article I will readā¦I tell you, Iām pretty impressed with AdWords. As soon as I can, I will increase my budget there.
The thing I am learning about online advertisingā¦and from the radio ad I did, is that if the platform you are using works, and can show that it works, thereās no need to be locked into a contract.
Mr Billy Joel !!!
I didnāt sign up with you naaaaaa na na naaaaa na na naaaa na. Good bye yellow pages - YouTube
Sorry had to
thats how i feel about all services, the first pest control company i worked for didnāt use contracts, i always explained to new customers āwe want you to stick with us because youāre happy not because you have tooā then the second company i worked for DID use contracts and it always felt like it was because the company thought people wouldnāt stick around if it werenāt for the contract.
Every account I have is a handshake deal. Iāll risk one cleaning to find out all about a customer. Do me wrong Iām done with ya, simple.
