@luke3636 are you a window ninja too?

Rich: i agree. I tried the over sized squeegees as well and ya know at the end of the week I was more worn out with about the same amount of work done. I went back to my Ettore 12" & 18" because “Less is more.”

I find I can control a 12" squeegee better than a 14" squeegee. Those are the 2 sizes I use the majority of the time on residential jobs.

In the U.K. they like a ten inch channel. I’ve tried it on some residential jobs and I actually finish the jobs faster than usual.

I did I once at 1.32 but this was a run off so it was a second time we did . Frank from France wow. I was second ! Fastest window cleaner in the USA - YouTube

haha where do you get all these funny pics!

I used a 10" channel today to compare. This is a job I normally use my 12" channel on. It was faster with the 10".

I normally use 14 and 10 on residential, the 10 seems to be way faster on interiors windows.

You all must have tiny windows to clean, the smaller panes I clean are about 30"x 50".

Wow, this is all blowing my mind right now. After all the indoctrination to start small but then work up to bigger… Now smaller is faster?? I guess it all comes full circle eventually. :expressionless:

I’ve always used 14 and 10 for residential work (i also carry a 7.5 in channel). Those sizes work well for the windows in my area.

12"-14" is still the sweet spot for probably 60% of my work. Modern sunshine state houses tend to have large panes in between french sets and 6’-8’ sliders.

The only time a 10" squeegee is faster for me is when the house is an older model with tons of jalousie windows.

Here’s a guy who use to believe in huge squeegee channels. He may be onto something new. One things for sure. He’s a window cleaning master. PolznBladz

I use to do all my residential jobs with an 18" & 12" until a friend told me to leave the 18" in the truck. I thought I’d loose time on homes with big windows and sliders that I’d done many times before but I was wrong. Trust me. On most jobs with regular sized double hung windows it’ll go faster. It doesn’t make sense but that’s been my experience

I noticed in the video Bob is using a smaller squeegee. :relaxed: It is faster depending on the size of the windows. I would never use a 10" squeegee on a 4ft x 4ft solid glass window. Smaller windows the 10" channel may be my go to channel for now on. So much easier to control.
