Winsol Super Slip

Well, I broke down and ordered a couple of bottles of Winsol Super Slip from WCR with my recent order of supplies.

I had been reluctant to buy Winsol Super Slip because it’s not as concentrate as the other brands I’ve used meaning that I’d have to use much more of it per mix of solution.

I’ve tested the Winsol over the past couple of days and I have to say I like it just as well as any other brand of slip or glide that I’ve ever used.

I have to measure out much more Winsol Super Slip per gallon or per 32 oz. bottle than I did with other more concentrated brands but as it turns out I’m finding that this is quite alright.

I’m finding it much easier to get a more accurate measurement of slip with the Winsol stuff than with the more concentrated brands. For me that’s a definite plus.

And even though you have to use more of it that’s ok too because you get twice as much Winsol Super Slip for about the same price as you do with the more concentrated brands of slip. So price per oz. is about the same as with the other brands.

To sum it all up, I’ll be ordering slip from WCR instead of that other store from now on.

Thats awesome!! Glad you liked it… I knew the stuff was good… But its hard convincing someone until they try it…

Ok so who here uses XYZ Glisten?

Chris, I think Glisten is a house brand of soap at a certain store. They have a lubricant that is called “*** Slick”.

But by the way…I’ve tried that Glisten soap and don’t really care for it at all.

Im glad these subjects came up! Ive been looking at the winsol products this week. I use glisten now but decided to try the winsol glass cleaner when Im near the bottom of the bottle… Unless someone can convince me that it would be worth my while to add some to my order before it is shipped out tommorrow.

How is the is the Winsol APC-100 ?
What are your experiences with it?

de and you have to use 3 times the amount. I prefer paying less, and carrying less around.I would like to know how it compares to prevent drying. Probably the same, I think it’s all ethylene glycol (anti-freeze/deodorant).

Isn’t Glisten repackaged GG3?

Who knows? I’ve never tried it myself. It may be better than GG4 with added glide/slip/slick and much cheaper.

If you try it let us know how it goes.

We got a sample a few months back and Mrs Squeegee used it until it was half gone. She didn’t like it at all. She said it just didn’t “feel” right when squeegeeing. Needless to say we went back to GG4.

I’ve tried it out. Didn’t really like it much. It’s hard to explain. One problem I had was it didn’t seem to keep the window wet as long as using GG4.

David we tossed you in a sample of the winsol super slip with your order.

We have 3 samples of it left. Would anyone like one?

Hellooooo

I would like some of the super slip to try please. Saw your offer from Twitter…

Perhaps I can add in a bit to the GG4 to make it slip a little better, then stop using the small dab of soap that I am using now?

Anyone do that?

hahaha See i told everyone twitter worked!

ED Pm me your ship to address and we have 2 left any takers?

Ed - We use the Super Slip and GG4 combo. Works great!

Chris - I’ll take a sample to pass along to a wcer here who was asking about it. I just ordered another quart of it from the WCR store. It’s awesome stuff!

Tony how much of that super slip you add in 1 gallon of water?

I use the recommended amount. I think it’s 1/2 oz per gallon:confused:
I put it into a small floater bottle to ensure accurate measurements.

I couldn’t do it to you mate - although I’d like to try it :frowning:
Come on people - get a free sample!
