Nice, but taking those bolts in and out is a hassle.
How about gear ties? You can clip them to your bolts and wrap around the ladder. Then just adjust the length as you need.
I love gear ties because they just come in so handy like tying back curtains, holding up miniblinds that don’t work, or use them for wfp hose.
These gear ties have a clip and a eye loop:

but the bolts is what the storm actually rest on. i made this one so that it can handle any storm even picture storms
