Why is a Sorbo better on storefronts than Ettore brass?

One of the reasons I dont use 'em…

For me that’s another deal breaker. If a tool is going to cause my body pain I have no use for it.

I agree.

For my area I found the most productive size channel on storefront work is 18".

There are a few panes on my route that would benefit from a 24+ but I just don’t care enough about saving 3 swipes to carry the extra tool when an 18" does everything I need

I feel you… I’ve have a few stops that a 30 or 36 would shave some time off them, but I’m good with an 18 sleeve on an Unger swivel t-bar and a 18 channel on a ledge eze handle (mean and lean.)

With a 24" sorbo and a ledger it the perfect system for all window cleaning.
But we wfp all outside

I just bought some Moerman liquidater channels and a Fliq pad or two. I’m pretty impressed. Once I switched the Moerman rubber out and replaced it with Ettore rubber it’s been smooth sailing!

I switched from Ettore brass to aluminum channels several years ago and was happy with the switch. I’m not sure the Moerman squeegeees will totally replace my Steconne Featherweights but I have been enjoying using them for sure!

The sweet spot for me on the Moerman’s is the 14" and the 12" with the FliQ and Sorbos for larger windows that require the rigidity they provide.

I can’t seem to find any ceramic washers. Where do you buy them? Any help is appreciated. I just got some rubber washers, and I know that they will not last long.

Pluming suppliers.

It might be a Canada problem, but I have been asking hardware stores and Pluming suppliers, they look at me like I have 3 heads. I just can’t find your magic “ceramic washers” anywhere!

try something like these

middle second from the bottom I think is the right size

I’m interested in taking a look at that - do you know where that or a similar video is to be found?

I think I’ve been gripping the handles too hard.
